After receiving degrees in Civil Engineering and Planning from MIT, I began my working life in the construction industry, working on both residential and commercial as a laborer and carpenter. After completing my "education" with hammer in hand, I began my engineering career, never losing sight of the practical knowledge gained from working on construction sites. For the past 20 years, I've worked for design firms numbering from 5 employees to over 700, I've had the opportunity to work and learn from some of the finest designers in the industry, and have been able to design and manage all types of projects, from single family residential lot designs to 150,000+ square foot retail projects, to federal projects in Maine, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Puerto Rico.
I now put my practical experience and knowledge to work helping my clients succeed by solving engineering problems, helping them to negotiate the often complex regulatory process, and ultimately, by helping them turn their vision into realty.
