Civil Engineering Project Manager and Designer of Record for $21 million design and construction of an Armed Forces Reserve Center, Vehicle Maintenance Shop and Unheated Storage building (AFRC/VMS/UHS) complete with required utilities, storm drainage, communications, electric, HVAC, fire protection/alarm systems, IDS, force protection measures, paving, walks, curbs, parking, access roads, exterior lighting, site improvements, grading and landscaping on Government-owned land at Ft. Buchanan, Puerto Rico. Sustainable design strategy includes construction waste management, recycled materials content, energy conservation, water use reduction, stormwater management, improved thermal and building systems performance through increased insulation. Project to be LEED® Silver certified.

Civil Engineering Project Manager and Designer of Record for $19 million Army Reserve Training Center in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico the project consists of design and construction of an Armed Forces Reserve Center, Vehicle Maintenance Shop and Unheated Storage buildings (AFRC/VMS/UHS) complete with required utilities, storm drainage, communications, electric, HVAC, fire protection/alarm systems, IDS, force protection measures, paving, walks, curbs, parking, access roads, exterior lighting, site improvements, grading and landscaping on Government-owned land at Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

 

Design/Build, Army Reserve Equipment Concentration Site, Lakehurst, New Jersey

Civil Engineering Project Manager and Designer of Record, DTC was awarded a $20 million contract for the design and construction of an Armed Reserve Equipment Concentration Site, located at the Lakehurst Naval Air Engineering Station. DTC is providing all engineering, construction management, general contracting, supervision, quality control and safety services. Primary facilities include a Large (37 ac.) Mechanized Equipment Parking field, Privately Owned Vehicle Parking, Vehicle Maintenance Facility, and Warehouse Building.

 

Design/Build, Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC), Arkadelphia, Arkansas

Civil Engineering Project Manager and Designer of Record, DTC was awarded a $12 million contract for the design and construction of an Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC), located at Arkadelphia, Arkansas. DTC is providing all engineering, construction management, general contracting, supervision, quality control and safety services. Primary facilities include an Armed Forces Reserve Center with an Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS), unheated storage building, and organizational parking.

 

Design/Build P-130V, Survival, Evasion, Resistance & Escape (SERE) Training Building and Addition to Existing Building 315 BOQ Facility, Naval Shipyard Portsmouth, Kittery, Maine

Civil Engineering Project Manager and Designer of Record, DTC was selected to design and construct a two-story SERE School building that will house multiple functions to include; administrative, training, instructor, dining, cooking, storage, equipment, and additional support spaces. The building will include utility, civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, life safety and AT/FP components. The contract also calls for the design and construction of a one-story addition to the existing Building 315, the Shipyard’s Bachelor Officer’s Quarters (BOQ), to provide berthing as an adjunct facility to support the SERE School mission. The project is currently in design. DTC is providing all architectural and engineering design as well as construction management and general contracting with in-house resources.

 

P-1163 Main Gate Physical Security Upgrade and P-1164 Physical Security Upgrades – Piney Green, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Civil Engineering Project Manager and Designer of Record, DTC was awarded a $9.9 million contract for P-1163 Main Gate Physical Security Upgrade and P-1164 Physical Security Upgrades – Piney Green P1163 in Jacksonville, NC. DTC is providing all architectural and engineering design as well as construction management and general contracting with in-house resources.

 

P-693, Design/Build Main Gate Security Upgrades, New River, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Civil Engineering Project Manager and Designer of Record, DTC was awarded a $4.1 million design/build contract to construct and install measures at MCAS New River Main Gate location in order to improve installation security and to meet Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Requirements. The project involves the construction of a new gate house, and Inspection/Weather Shelters to provide covered entrance lanes and covered search and inspection areas for POVs and large commercial trucks. This project also includes a raised armed sentry overwatch, passive and active vehicle barriers, security fencing, and a truck inspection road.
